The Fault in Our Stars, the teen rom-com about cancer patients who fall in love after attending a support group has been of the biggest film adaptations that hit the big screen. A film that captured the hearts of young teens internationally, Bollywood has certainly taken notice of the film’s success with speculations that a Hindi remake is in the works!
The film is based on the book by the same name by famous personality John Green. The Hollywood flick is part of Star Movies Select HD’s Book Adaptation Festival and it featured on 20th August at 1pm. While speaking on the upcoming feature, the loved by all television personality, Karan Wahi mentioned "The Book Adaptation Festival on Star Movies Select is such a nice initiative especially for the movie buffs. My personal favorites are The Bourne Identity and although I'm not a major fan of rom-coms, I yet like The Fault in our Stars."
As the rumor mill continues as to who will be part of the Fault in Our Stars film in India, here are a few options that we think are certainly fit for the role and why they can play the part!

The character of Augustus is that of a young boy who even though lost a leg due to bone cancer, he is a wonderful combination of quick wit, humor and we can think of three stars who could fit the role! Shahid Kapoor, Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor each feature a unique boyish charm that fit perfectly for the role. They are certainly talented and we can be assured of them bringing to life the character well.

The lead character Hazel Grace is a young thoughtful and compassionate girl diagnosed with cancer. An intelligent and bright role in the film, Kalki Koechlin, Parineeti Chopra or Alia Bhatt best suit the role with their effortless acting skills, they will surely bring the book come to life!
Aditya Roy Kapoor, Ayushman Khurana, Saqib Saleem as Isaac
The three Bollywood stars will definitely do justice to the role of Isaac who is the best friend of Augustus Waters and is one of the comical characters in the film.
