Shruti to play back for Tamannaah
Looks like Shruti Haasan has decided to take her musical side to the next level. A trained singer, we have learnt that she has agreed to sing for the upcoming Vishal film \'Kaththi Sandai\' (\'Okkadochadu\' in Telugu).

A trained singer, we have learnt that she has agreed to sing for the upcoming Vishal film 'Kaththi Sandai' ('Okkadochadu' in Telugu). Apparently, the film’s director Suraj believed that Shruthi’s vocals would add the required fizz to the number and so approached the actress. She has given her consent to sing.
The ‘Gabbar Singh’ actress would be lending vocals to the film’s leading lady Tamannaah on whom the track (composed by Hip Hop Tamizha) would be picturised. “Shruti was approached recently for the special song and upon liking the track, she said yes. She has given a voice test but it’s unclear whether she has sung the number yet,” shares a source in the know. Apart from a few private numbers, Shruti earlier had sung in films like ‘Vedalam’, ‘Shamitabh’, ‘Tevar’, ‘Race Gurram’ and ‘Oh My Friend’.
