Actress Amy Jackson says she is trying her best to do diverse roles in Bollywood to avoid getting typecast.

"One easily tends to get typecast in Bollywood. As an actress, I am very happy with 'Singh Is Bliing' because that was totally different from what I have done before. I am very conscious about picking my roles and make sure that they are different," Amy Jackson said in Mumbai recently.

She added, "I am conscious about not getting typecast, but obviously I have to keep picking up great roles so that I don't get typecast."

The actress, who was last seen in ‘Freaky Ali’, comes from a non-filmy background. She says she is satisfied with her career so far.

Amy said, "I am very satisfied with my career. I came to India with many dreams and I am pretty happy with whatever little I have achieved. I started with Tamil film, followed by a Hindi film; I am also doing a Telugu film now. The journey has been wonderful so far."

She will soon be seen in superstar Rajinikanth-starrer ‘2.0’.
