Yet another love story for Sumanth
Actor Sumanth, whose last film ‘Naruda Donaruda’ sank without a trace at the box-office, has green-lit a new project, the launch of which took place in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Actor Sumanth, whose last film ‘Naruda Donaruda’ sank without a trace at the box-office, has green-lit a new project, the launch of which took place in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The as-yet-untitled film, to be directed by debutant Gautham Thinnanoori, features Aakansha Singh alongside the lanky actor. Aakansha played a supporting role in Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt-starrer ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’.
Speaking about the project, Gautham said, “It’s about a guy and a girl falling in love in three different time zones. It would be told in a non-linear fashion. Sumanth will be seen as software professional and there are two shades to his role.”
When asked whether it turned out to be difficult to approach Sumanth, Gautham, who hasn’t assisted anyone, said, “I’ve approached him with the test shoot video that I’ve shot. Later, I pitched the story to him. Impressed by the script and what I’ve shot, he gave his consent in the first narration itself.”
The film would roll in the last week of this month. “We are planning to wrap it up in 40-45 days. It is a Hyderabad-set drama but would be shot across Rajamahendravaram and Kakinada too.”Annapurna, Kadambari Kiran, Abhinav and Mirchi Kiran are on board to play supporting roles in the film.
