Beyonce surprises teen cancer patient

Beyonce Knowles used video calling app FaceTime to connect with young cancer patient Ebony Banks, after a social media campaign under the hashtag #EbobmeetsBeyonce grabbed her attention.

Beyonce surprised the teenager, who has been battling with a rare form of the disease, with a video call on Wednesday, because it has always been her lifelong dream to meet her "idol".

Speaking about her last wish, Banks, who is also known as Ebob, said: "She's (Beyonce) like my everything and my idol. And if I ever met her, I would probably pass out."
