A leading news daily recently reported that the film's director Gandhi initially approached Sharwanand to play the lead. As Sharwa rejected the film, the director approached Nani.

The film unit recently revealed the looks of both the lead actors in the film.
Krishnarjuna Yudhdham has Anupama Parameswaran and Rukshar Mir as the female leads. Hiphop Tamizha has been roped in as the music composer for the film.
