Sharwanand to play young NTR in biopic?

If everything falls in place, reigning star Sharwanand will be essaying the role of young NTR in the much-hyped biopic of legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao.

It may be mentioned here that seasoned star Balakrishna is reprising the role of his father and iconic actor in his maiden production under NBK Studios. The biopic, showcases three phases of NTR- school going kid, a teenagar and finally 25-plus hero Balakrishna himself. It is a very important role in the film because playing young NTR will be a boon for any actor in Telugu filmdom.

The teen role covers a good portion of NTR’s life when he learnt wrestling, apart from studying , he became popular stage artiste as well. An opportunity for any actor to showcase a gamut of emotions in this role. “We are looking for a handsome young actor who is also very popular to play the teen role. Of course, Sharwanand is one of the contenders for the role but we are exploring other options too.

Hence, we haven’t signed anyone till date,” says a source, close to the unit. Actually, Sharwanand who is basking in the glory of blockbusters like ‘Sathamanam Bhavati,’ and ‘Mahanubhavudu’ aptly fit the bill, since he is handsome as well as highly talented too. Surely, if he bags the plum role, he will add another feather to his steaming cap. Let’s wait and watch.
