The actress was finalised as one of the female protagonists in the upcoming comic caper starring Natural Star Nani and Nagarjuna Akkineni. T Sriram Adithya is the director. After a lot of research and the discussions, the makers finalised the heroine.
The sources revealed that the makers scouted for the female lead extensively but had to eventually zero in Rashmika opposite Nani. The makers wanted big heroines on board as it is a project involving two big stars. But they felt that Rashmika would suit well alongside Nani and brought her on board. They are yet to finalise the lady for Nagarjuna in the film.
