Mohan Babu commands Rs 75 lakh pay for 2 days?

Undeniably, the charisma and popularity of seasoned actor Mohan Babu hasn’t subsided, thanks to his selection of meaty roles in big-ticket movies.

The ‘Peddarayudu’ star has reportedly pocketed Rs 75 lakh for his two-day work in the much-hyped ‘Mahanati’, while the producers are happy since they found a matching actor who can reprise the role of legendary S V Ranga Rao (SVR) in mythological roles like Ghatothgaja in the recap of Telugu film ‘Mayabazaar’ in ‘Mahanati’ and some key scenes with Keerthy Suresh (who is playing Savitri).

“Mohan Babu is a versatile actor and aptly fits into the big shoes of SVR. He will be seen in mythological roles as well as a normal SVR in some other scenes with Keerthy Suresh in the biopic. Yet again, he showcased his acting brilliance and has been a big value addition for our movie,” says a source, close to the unit.

Already, an ensemble of actors like Dulquer, Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda are playing other key roles in this trilingual film. Earlier, Mohan Babu won laurels and claps for his scintillating performance as Lord Yama in Rajamouli’s blockbuster ‘Yamadonga’ and bound to enthral viewers in another mythological role this summer.
