Nithiin gives nod to ‘Chalo’ director?

With his latest offering ‘Chal Mohan Ranga’ receiving a mixed response at the box-office, young actor Nithiin is all set to team up with new-age director Venky Kudumala for a big-ticket film. The young director who impressed the audience with his romantic entertainer ‘Chalo’ has caught the attention of the ‘Jayam’ star.

“Nithiin was impressed with the director’s work and listened to the love story narrated by him some time ago. Although he liked the storyline in-principle, he gave some valuable suggestions and asked the writer-director to work on it and come up with a water-tight script,” says a source, close to the unit.

The choice of Nithiin seems to be right, as Venky gave a much-needed hit for Naga Shourya and revived his sagging fortunes. May be, after the not-so-impressive action thriller ‘Lie’, Nithiin wanted to do a refreshing love story set in a unique backdrop and reinvent his lover boy image of ‘Gundejaari Galanthaiyinde’ to put his career back on track.

Interestingly, Venky was gifted a swanky car by Naga Shourya after the big success of ‘Chalo’ and now Nithiin has to choose and buy an appropriate ‘present’, if the director delivers a blockbuster. Nonetheless, Nithiin should start depending more on the 20—plus directors to revive his winning habit.
