NTR and Trivikram's first outing together 'Aravindha Sametha' opened with a bang and had a dream run at the box office. But the collections have come crashing down after the Dussehra weekend and the movie is struggling to survive in the theatres.
In fact, the collections in many centres are very bad that they are not able to fetch theatre rents as well. The film is running into deficits even in areas like Nizam already. In Nizam on Wednesday, 'Aravindha Sametha' suffered more than Rs. 7 lakh deficit and the situation was even worse on Thursday.
The total collections are Rs. 18 crore share in Nizam. But the deficits are now threatening the recovered revenues. Though the collections see a big rise in collections during the weekend, the share will be around Rs. 18 crore mark.
Some paid websites are spreading false rumours that the film has crossed Rs. 20 crore mark in Nizam. At this rate, 'Aravindha Sametha' would fall short of Rs. 90 crore mark and might end up just as an 'average film' at the box office.
