If reliable sources are to be believed, seasoned star Balakrishna is shooting his upcoming release ‘NTR Mahanayakudu’ to deliver a box office success and has extended the shooting till first week of February. “The whole team including Balakrishna, Rana, Sachin Kandekar and others are shooting day and night for some key scenes at Ramoji Film City right now,” says a source and adds “The shooting will go on till February 4 because director Krish doesn’t want to take any chances with the second part,” the source adds.
Actually, `NTR Mahanayakudu’ was supposed to hit the screens on January 24 and then it was deferred to February 8. “It would be difficult to release the high-voltage political drama on February 8 because still shooting is going on and then post production work has to be completed. Balayya & team are surely racing against time,” the source points out.
The political potboiler was supposed to create ripples in upcoming Andhra Pradesh State Assembly Elections due in April and also upcoming elections for Parliament and notification for the same is expected to be issued. “If election notification is issued, then it would be difficult to release ‘Mahanayakudu’ on February 14, as Opposition parties would object to its release,” the source concludes.
