Hyderabad: A 17-year-old daughter of a Naval officer from Visakhapatnam went missing in Hyderabad after she landed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Tuesay. The girl was supposed to go to Pune.

He mobile phone signal was traced to Bowenpally, said police. Kairavi Sharma (17), daughter of Aravind Sharma, a Navy officer, working at Visakhapatnam, landed at RGIA on Tuesday morning.

The girl was admitted to a college in Pune for intermediate. The college management on Wednesday called Aravind Sharma and informed that his daughter did not turn up.

Aravind, when tried to contact Kairavi, he found that her mobile phone signal out of reach. He lodged a complaint with the RGIA police.

During investigation, the RGIA police recovered the CCTV Camera footage at the airport and found that the girl had boarded a Pushpak bus which carries passengers to and from the airport.

The girl’s mobile was seen active last on Tuesday evening and traced to Bowenpally.
