4 years jail for killing neighbour
According to sources, H Ramana of Parvathipuram town had been addicted to alcohol and used to quarrel with his wife. While he was quarrelling with his wife at midnight, S Gowri, a neighbour, rushed to the former’s house and threw him on to the road as he was vexed with his nuisance.
Vizianagaram: Parvathipuram II Additional District Judge imposed four years imprisonment and a fine on the murder accused in the district on Thursday. The murder incident took place in 2012 at Parvathipuram town.
According to sources, H Ramana of Parvathipuram town had been addicted to alcohol and used to quarrel with his wife. While he was quarrelling with his wife at midnight, S Gowri, a neighbour, rushed to the former’s house and threw him on to the road as he was vexed with his nuisance.
H Ramana was seriously injured and succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment. Later, Laxmi, wife of Ramana, had lodged a complaint with police and a case was registered. B Venkata Rao, Inspector of Parvathipuram, arrested Gowri and investigated the case.
