Doctor fatally stabbed
A 46-year-old doctor was stabbed to death at his clinic located on Mallepally-Vijayanagar Colony road late on Tuesday evening.
Hyderabad: A 46-year-old doctor was stabbed to death at his clinic located on Mallepally-Vijayanagar Colony road late on Tuesday evening.
According to police, doctor Mirajuddin of Vijayanagar Colony had been running Miraj Cardio Clinic and Life Care on Mallepalli-Vijayanagar Colony Road for the last few years. Two persons entered the clinic at around 10.15 pm on Tuesday when the doctor was alone and stabbed him indiscriminately with knives.
A severely bleeding Mirajuddin tried to come out of the clinic to get help but collapsed at the waiting lounge. People in the vicinity said the assailants had fled the place after making sure that the doctor was dead, police said.
Police suspect family disputes could be the motive behind the murder as the doctor had divorced one of his three wives. Humayun Nagar police has registered a case and launched investigations.
