Fake police racket busted, 3 held
Police busted a fake police racket on Saturday and arrested three culprits. Police recovered 4 tolas gold, 2 tolas silver, two cars, one bike and Rs 30,000 in cash.The arrested were identified as brothers Musunuri Kashi Vishwanath (35) and Musunuri Koti Venkanna Babu (25) residents of Bodduppal, Medchal district and Bitla Srinivas Reddy of Bodduppal and native of Vijayawada of Krishna district.

Kodad town CI Rajitha Reddy produced the accused before the media in a press meet held at the office premises. She said the accused targeted senior citizens in Kodad division and looted them by introducing themselves as police constables.
They identified the culprits through CCTV footage in Kodad and arrested them at Anathagiri cross roads on Friday late night during vehicle checkup. Their complete crime record in two Telugu speaking States was traced out through FINS app, she said.
