Four arrested for cricket betting
The police on Saturday arrested four persons for allegedly betting on the ICC Champions trophy match between England and Australia.

Acting on a tip off that some people were indulging in cricket betting, the One Town police and the special operations team raided a Tulasi medical shop at Mustafanagar in the town.
The arrested were identified as Miriyala Jagan, the medical shop owner, Dandanaboina Uday Kiran, Kaikuri Veera Hanumanthu and Chintakindi Upender. According to ACP P V Ganesh, the police seized Rs 3.12 lakh cash along with seven mobile phones from them.
A search is on for S K Raheem, Vempati Nageswara Rao, Ponneganti Sathish, Pratapaneni Mahesh, Mastan, Gudichuttu Mallikharjuna Rao, Mutyala Shankar, Madhu and Balakrishna who placed their bets since the morning.
