Graphic designer, wife commit suicide
A cine graphic designer and his wife committed suicide at AllwynColony in Kukatpally on Saturday night by hanging from ceilingat their residence.
Hyderabad: A cine graphic designer and his wife committed suicide at AllwynColony in Kukatpally on Saturday night by hanging from ceilingat their residence.
According to police, Praveen (35), a native of Srikakulam, was married to Anitha(30) about three years ago.
However, their relationship was in doldrums for the past one year, even though their financial condition was stable. Anitha,whowas staying at her native place in Srikakulam district for some time, returned back to her husband a few days ago along with 18-month-old baby. However, they continued to quarrel over marital issues.
On Saturday night, Praveen resorted to the extreme step when his wife was away. After finding him hanging, the woman tried to separate him from the rope, but failed.
Since he was already dead, she also resorted to take her own life and hanged herself, leaving behind the toddler. The Kukatpally police registered a case and began investigation.
