3 youth held for molesting girl

According to the sources, a girl from Sivanagar colony in Kanigiri was in friendship with Karthik of the same locality for a year. She eventually got introduced to Sai and Pavan, friends of Karthik.
Karthik was said to have proposed to the girl but she rejected his overtures. Then he was accused of getting suspicious that the girl was in relationship with some other guy and that she refused his offer.
Feeling slighted by rejection of his love, Karthik invited his friends Sai and Pavan along with the girl for an outing. After an argument over the love proposal, Karthik encouraged Sai to molest the girl and recorded it in the mobile phone. The girl’s cries for help went unheard. They warned the victim of dire consequences if she revealed their act to anyone.
But the video footages shared on the social media went viral. The parents of the girl, who got to know of the offence, complained to the police. Kanigiri CI M Subbarao said, “We have nabbed the three youth immediately after receiving the complaint from the girl and her family. One of them is a degree student.”
