Jewel thief held, ornaments worth 11 lakh recovered

Kothagudem: A 20-year-old habitual offender was taken into custody and 38.5 tolas gold jewellery worth Rs 11 lakh was recovered from him. The arrested was identified as Dharmasoth Mann Singh. He is also said to have spent time in Borstal school.

Presenting the accused before the media, Superintendent of Police Amber Kishore Jha said police were able to crack the cases with the help of CCTV footages. He appreciated Palvoncha SI Karunakar and traffic SI Raju for apprehending the accused.

ASP Sunil Dutt, Palvoncha DSP Srinivasulu, Palvoncha CI Raghavender Rao, Special Branch Inspector Subba Rao, Palvoncha town SI Karunakar, Palvoncha traffic SI Mandali Raju and Motor Transport Officer Somulu and others were present.
