Eight booked for slaughtering camels in Telangana
Police seized a large number of slaughtered camels in Nalgonda district along with four vehicles which were being used for their transportation.

According to the reports, the police received an intimation around midnight regarding camels being slaughtered in an agricultural field at Ukondi village in Munugode mandal.
While the police teams immediately rushed to the spot but the people involved in the act allegedly absconded.
It is learned that 28 camels were brought to the field in two transport vehicles bearing Maharashtra registration and two other vehicles were stationed to transport the camel meat to Hyderabad.
Five of the 28 camels were left alive while the lest were slaughtered. So far, police have taken eight persons into custody in connection with the incident.
