Pegasystems launch UAP
Pegasystems, with an aim to nurture and build a job-ready talent pool that companies can tap into has launched a Pega\'s University Academic Program (UAP).
Hyderabad: Pegasystems, with an aim to nurture and build a job-ready talent pool that companies can tap into has launched a Pega's University Academic Program (UAP).
Pega's University Academic Program (UAP) is a world-wide initiative, which offers training and certification on the Pega 7 platform for both university professors as well as students - majoring in engineering- computer science, business information technology, or computer information systems.
The program is an exclusive opportunity for graduating computer science students from leading universities to supplement their academic curriculum with industry-level and latest software training, along with a certification.
“Within the Indian content, Pega feels their UAP will be the key to address the country’s growing developer resource crunch, while fostering a better corporate-academia connect”, says Suman Reddy, MD, Pegasystems, India in a press release.
“The course offers two levels of training – General and Advanced. After completing the required course, students can intern or seek employment with any leading global firms who use Pega technology. Students can also apply for internship or directly work with Pega in either of offices – Hyderabad and Bangalore.
This on-going initiative has proved a great success and has seen participation from over 500 students from two premier universities. All monetary expenses are borne by organizations (Pega’s partner ecosystem), who sponsor to train and potential these certified students”, points press release.
