The students of ICFAI University Hyderabad met Neetu Prasad, Project Director, Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen, Govt of Telangana at her and shared the activities the university has undertaken during the Swachhata Pakwada conducted from 1st Sept to 15th Sept 2017.

Hyderabad: The students of ICFAI University Hyderabad met Neetu Prasad, Project Director, Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen, Govt of Telangana at her and shared the activities the university has undertaken during the Swachhata Pakwada conducted from 1st Sept to 15th Sept 2017.

Relevant Videos, photographs and the entire program schedule and action was shared with her. Prof. G Madhavi, convener of the program gave a detailed presentation of the activities conducted.

Neetu Prasad was extremely happy to see the work done and enthused the students and the university to continue the commendable work. She has especially praised the students for their visit to surrounding villages, market places and public spaces to spread the awareness of cleanliness.

The Commissioner also said that - India as an Open Defecation Free (ODF) is the dream that is turning to reality with the youth actively participating in the same.

She has said that under ‘Swachh Bharat Gramin’ students of ICFAI University should cover surrounding villages and spread the message of ODF and help the gram panchayat in speeding up the process of construction of toilets.
