Night temperatures below normal
There was an appreciable fall ranging from 2.1 to 4 degrees Celsius in the night temperatures at one or two places in coastal Andhra and no large change in Rayalaseema during last the 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Sunday.
Hyderabad: There was an appreciable fall ranging from 2.1 to 4 degrees Celsius in the night temperatures at one or two places in coastal Andhra and no large change in Rayalaseema during last the 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Sunday.
The Met department bulletin said the temperatures were appreciably below normal by 3.1 to 5 degrees Celsius at most places in Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra regions. The lowest minimum of 12 degrees Celsius was recorded in Anantapur and Arogyavaram.
The other temperatures recorded in the State were: Nandyal 13, Kalingapatnam 14, Bapatla, Nandigama, Visakhapatnam Airport, Kadapa & Tirupati 15 each, Jangamaheswarapuram, Vijayawada & Kurnool 16 each, Tuni & Kavali 17 each, Kakinada & Machilipatnam 18 each, Narsapur, Nellore & Ongole 19.
