Speaking on the occasion, Das recollected his long association with Kondala Rao from his school days. He mentioned Kondala Rao’s initiative in penning the script for his award winning playlet ‘Kukka Pilla Dorikindi’. “In his autobiography, Kondala Rao narrates his tryst with film industry and his life experiences, which deserves appreciation,” Das said.
Kondala Rao exhorted people to promote theatre art as an effective medium to enlighten society. S Krishnaveni reviewed the book. Later, Kondala Rao was felicitated by the three cultural associations.
