As part of the efforts towards breast cancer awareness the details of the upcoming edition of ‘Pink Ribbon Walk’ were highlighted at a press meet on Friday.Dr P Raghu Ram, CEO and Director of Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation (UBF) shared the details.

As part of the ‘Paint The City Pink’ programme, iconic buildings in city will be illuminated pink on Friday midnight. We are also organising a ‘Walk’ in Vijayawada on October 23. In addition, we will hold a ramp walk in which the survivors of breast cancer will take centrestage at Secunderabad Club on Saturday,” said Dr Ram.

IT Secretary, Jayesh Ranjan, who participated in the event, said, “The government is providing all necessary facilities to make people aware about the disease. We are also setting up a joint working group to discuss Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.”
