Health camp held in Rebbanapalli
An NRI, Sangambhatla Rajendraprasad representing Big Help Organisation, organised a health camp at his native village of Rebbanapalli on Tuesday. He vowed to build a hospital to render free medical support to the villagers.

He called two doctors from the USA, who conducted an awareness programme on diseases like brain tumor and heart attacks at a health camp at the government high school here.
Doctors Arjun Joseph and Abraham P Thomas enlightened the gathering at the camp about the precautions to be taken by patients, when struck by a stroke while explaining the symptoms. They stressed the need for timely medical aid to be provided to such persons for saving precious lives.
The American specialists pointed out that only a few thousands of Indian doctors were extending their services in different states back home. They hoped that the number of Indians pursuing of medicine in the US would increase in the years to come.
Rajendra Prasad told The Hans India that he could not bear the thought of his native villagers suffering. He expressed concern at the poor people, including farmers, are meeting untimely death unable to afford the treatment cost of various diseases.
He thought of doing something worthwhile for the unfortunate rural masses and the idea of conducting the health camp took shape.
He was particularly anguished after realising that the mandal centre lacked a proper health centre. To overcome this problem, Prasad assured the villagers, who attended the camp, that he would soon build a hospital with his own funds to provide free health care facilities.
Among those present at the camp were Market Committee Chairman Biyyala Tirupathi, MPP Golla Manjula, ZPTC Member Yashvanth, vice-MPP Rajender, CI Mohan, SI Bhumesh, school head master Mogili, teacher Arcane and Mancherial DMHO Bheeshma.
A large number of local residents and students told THI that they were happy that Prasad had come forward to offer his services to rid them of causes that give rise to health problems.
