Excerpts
When did you realise that you want to be a DJ?
I think in the eighth or ninth grade when I found interesting to mix two songs.

I was always a musician, I play the piano and even then I found a stronger calling towards electronic music. There were a lot of ups and downs, laughs and cries, failures and successes in my journey so far. Life is a mashup (laughs) and here I am.

As a DJ what do you bring to the table that is different from others?
An experience! My live acts have everything from instruments to Audio Visual Content to lighting to themes all in synch and I've got the best team working on this. It's not a DJ plugging in two pen drives playing 90 minutes and moving out; it's an entire theatrical drama where you fall in love. We make you dance and we bring out your inner bathroom singer.

What is your favourite part of performing?
When I pull the fader down and the crowd sings along.

Who is your inspiration?
I draw a lot of inspiration from Armin van Buuren.

Who is your favourite DJ among your contemporaries and why?
Lost Stories! I love their sound!

According to you what will be the scene of EDM in next five years?
It will boom in India at least. International artists will start getting interested in Bollywood songs.

What is your view about shifting Sunburn from Goa to Pune?
Goa will be easier to commute within finally; however, I feel it's a loss to the Goa government. Years of investment went to waste as Goa was finally being recognised as the dance music capital of India.

Nonetheless, Pune will be super too! Full support to Harindra and Karan!
