Lord Rama appears in Parasurama Avataram
Vishwaksena puja and Punyavaha Vachnam were performed during the puja. After offering auspicious harati to the deity, the priests conducted special pujas at the Nithya Kalayana Mandapam. Later, Lord Rama and other deities were taken for the Tiruveedhi Seva at Kalayana Mantapam, where devotees had darshan of Lord Sri Rama.The Lord would appear in the avataram of Sri Rama on Thursday.
Bhadrachalam: Lord Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy on Wednesday gave darshan to devotees in Parasurama Avataram, as part of the Mukkoti Ekadasi Adhyanotsavam here. The entire area reverberated with the chanting of ‘Jai Sri Ram’. Earlier in the day, the Swamy was colourfully decorated in the attire of Parasurama and offered special pujas before being brought to the Adhyayanotsava Vedika in the Mithila Stadium. This was followed by recitation of Vedic hymns by Veda pundits and Kolatam by women devotees.
