DIG inaugurates Command Control Centre at Nalgonda
As a part of district inspection on Tuesday, DIG Akun Sabarval visited Nalgonda DPO office and examined the functioning of allied units DCRB, DCB, AR HQRS, MT section, dog and bomb squads.
Nalgonda: As a part of district inspection on Tuesday, DIG Akun Sabarval visited Nalgonda DPO office and examined the functioning of allied units DCRB, DCB, AR HQRS, MT section, dog and bomb squads.
He viewed the parade performance of men and mob control drill operation conducted by the district police at Parade Grounds of DPO.
He along with SP Prakash Reddy inaugurated the newly-constructed Bell of Arms of Nalgonda district and also opened Clue and Rapid Cop Command and Control Centre at police headquarters.

Speaking to media, the DIG informed that Nalgonda police installed GPS-enabled system to the police vehicles, linked with Rapid cop web application/ Android app.
Explaining about the technology, the DIG said with Rapid Cop application it was easy to know the exact location of police vehicle and information of crime could be passed on to control room with this application, he added.
Meanwhile, to build good relation between general police and public and to serve the public under policing concept, district police developed a web application www.nalgondapolice.com, he informed.
