Award-winning film on biodiversity and wildlife ‘Kali Bein (The Black River)’ will be screened at the ongoing ‘Musi River International Festival’.

The programme was inaugurated by P Satyanarayana Reddy, Secretary TS Pollution Control Board on Monday at TSPCB Auditorium.

He addressed the students by saying that it is their responsibility to work for better environment if not in future they have to hardships to survive.

About 1,200 school students are participating in the screenings and discussions. The purpose of these screenings is to motivate, engaged and educate students and citizens about environmental issues.

The Musi River Festival is organised by TSPCB in coordination with CMS Vatavaran.
