Grand double for Rahul Lokesh

Rahul Lokesh was the star of the day when he cornered glory with a rare double in the 17th Free Entry Day & Night Ghaus Muhammad Memorial Junior Tennis Tourney-2017 held by Sports Coaching Foundation (SCF) in their Masab Tank premises on Tuesday.

After clinching the Under-8 title, he proved his mettle while winning the Under-10 title in an equally effortless manner.

Later, former State hockey player G Vijaya Laxmi, who is also a member of the GHMC Standing Committee, gave away prizes at an impressive function.

Vijaya Laxmi showered lavish praises on K Sai Baba, founder-Secretary of the Foundation for his relentless efforts by way of providing platforms to budding talent, who were denied enough opportunities due to economic compulsions.

She said underprivileged children should take advantage of such opportunities free-entry events to showcase their talent and rise up the ladder.

Former Additional Superintendent of Police, Hyderabad, Arthur, also graced the occasion.

Event organizer, Azmi and coordinators, Ramesh, Sudhakar and Srikanth were felicitated.
