Directing the district administration to procure the land for temple development, he suggested that the temple development master plan should cater to the temple needs for the next 100 years.

Later talking to media, he said the temples should thrive as spiritual centres for the spiritual as well as materialistic development of the people. It would help the people of the society inculcate good conduct.

He advocated development of temples properly exploiting the technology and appreciated Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s efforts to spread glory of Lord Rama in all directions globally.

Favouring the constitution of an Agama Committee, he suggested taking the advice of local elders for the temple development. Swamy further added that the period was best suited for development of temples in the State.

Acting on the directions of the Chief Minister, he arrived here on a helicopter and discussed master plan development with the architect as well as Endowment and temple authorities.

Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao said Chief Minister was developing the Bhadradri temple as per the Agama Sastra rules.

The temple would be developed as per the aspirations of the people and devotees. Development of temples would be taken up as per the religious texts to spread traditions and culture at home and abroad.

On the Chief Minister’s directions, Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Anand Sai and Stapati Vallinayagan visited the temple.

MLAs Jalagam Venkat Rao, Sunnam Rajaiah, Tati Venkateswarlu, Officer on Special Duty to the Chief Minister Bhupal Reddy, Bhadradri-Kothagudem District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu and others were present on the occasion.
