9 Drown cases in Nalgonda and Suryapet
In three separate incidents, nine persons met watery grave in Nalgonda and Suryapet districts on Tuesday. Of the nine dead, seven were children and five of the seven were girls.
Nalgonda: In three separate incidents, nine persons met watery grave in Nalgonda and Suryapet districts on Tuesday. Of the nine dead, seven were children and five of the seven were girls.
According to sources, four girls went to SLBC Open Canal located at PA Pally to wash their clothes. Of them, Majula (13) and Saritha (14), who entered into waters soon drowned to death. In another incident that took place at Mattapally of Surypet, two youngsters, Navya Teja (24) and Rajesh (23) entered Krishna waters in a canal located at Mattampally for swimming.
All of a sudden the flow of water increased washing away the duo. Locals fished out the dead bodies. Similarly, Pujitha (13), Sathwik (9), Teja (11), Pavan Kumar (15) and Shiril (7) went for swimming at Nirmalamma pond located on the outskirts of Ketepally and were washed away.
After receiving information, police rushed to the spot and fished out the dead bodies and shifted to Nakrekal hospital for post-mortem.
