Hanamkonda: The public turn out at the TRS public meeting scheduled to be held in Warangal on April 27 is going to be more than expectations and will be a grand success, asserted Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao.

He said the State government, which is going ahead with pro-poor agenda, is being patronised by public in the State and it is hoped that they would attend the meeting in large numbers.

The Minister along with Warangal (West) MLA D Vinay Bhasker has flagged off an auto-rickshaw rally at Prakashreddypet in Hanamkonda on Tuesday to campaign for the part meeting.

They took a short ride in the auto-rickshaws. Speaking to presspersons on the occasion, Minister Harish Rao said the public meeting is going to be an occasion for the ruling party to present its achievements during the past three years.

The Minister has on the day inspected the arrangements, going at a fast pace as just one day left for the meeting to take place. The dais is being constructed spacious manner to accommodate nearly 500 guests.

Harish Rao, who has been camping in the city for the past two days, has been personally monitoring public mobilisation from the districts. He held meetings with constituency wise in-charges. The party leadership is banking on the erstwhile Warangal district from where it is planned to mobilise four lakh public.

MLA Vinay Bhasker said from Warangal West assembly segment nearly one lakh public will attend the meeting and the arrangements are being made in that direction. Intensive door to door campaign is being conducted all across the constituency.

He expressed pleasure over the fact that his constituency under which the venue Prakashreddypet falls is hosting the public meeting. ‘The CM has a special affection and sentiment to both the constituency and the venue,’ he added.

Meanwhile, arches, hoardings and banners explaining the government welfare measures and development works have been put up all across the city. Scores of cut outs of the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao have been put up all over the Warangal-Hanamkonda-Kazipet.
