For reasons unknown, the civic staff stopped collecting garbage and cleaning nalas regularly and piles of garbage started appearing in various colonies, emanating stench.

The situation became worse after Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s Warangal visit. Of the three cities, Kazipet is the most affected.

Since three months, no one is cleaning the nalas and vegetable market near St Anns School. And nobody is collecting garbage for the past 15 days.

Without any fixed place to throw the garbage, the residents near St Anns School and vegetable market areas are keeping their house wastages near the school. The passersby have to bear the stench.

The locals alleged that they made several complaints on phone to the officials in authority but of no use. They are worried as several people were infected due to the rotten rubbish.

They are requesting the officials to sort out the problem and save them from health problems.
