Grand celebrations mark Rahul Gandhi’s 47th birthday
Grand celebrations were organised by Congress leaders in the district marking the 47th birthday of All India Congress Committee vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Monday.
Warangal: Grand celebrations were organised by Congress leaders in the district marking the 47th birthday of All India Congress Committee vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Monday.
In a programme at Congress Bhavan, the party district president N Rajender Reddy has cut a cake in the presence of party workers. He said under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi the party was getting strengthened.
In another programme at Warangal Chowrastha, the party workers have burst the fire crackers. The city Congress working president Rajanala Srihari has cut a cake in the presence of large gathering of people and the party workers.
Speaking on the occasion, Srihari hoped that the country would see Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Minister after 2019 elections. The public in the state and across the country were looking towards Congress and the success of recent public meeting at Sangareddy proves it, he said.
Party leaders Manda Vinod Kumar, Kothapalli Srinivas, G Raju, B Sadanandam, Ch Venkateshwarlu and others participated in the programme.
