Godavari receives flood waters
With the advent of monsoon, the water level in Godavari river started rising here on Thursday. During the summer, the water level in the river was only 4ft. With the increase in the inflow of water, the level has gone now up to 7.5ft.

The level is most likely to rise further with the active monsoon this season. Generally, water level rises to alarming levels during July and August when the first flood warning level would be issued.
