Civic staff told to complete pending works in Peddapalli
District in-charge Collector S Prabhakar Reddy ordered the officials of concerned departments to complete the works of Ramagundam Municipal Corporation that are in pending, as early as possible. He chaired a review meeting with Ramagundam Municipal Corporation staff along with Municipal Commissioner John Samson at his chamber in the Collectorate here on Monday.
Peddapalli: District in-charge Collector S Prabhakar Reddy ordered the officials of concerned departments to complete the works of Ramagundam Municipal Corporation that are in pending, as early as possible. He chaired a review meeting with Ramagundam Municipal Corporation staff along with Municipal Commissioner John Samson at his chamber in the Collectorate here on Monday.
Speaking at the meeting, the in-charge Collector ordered the officials to fix street lights with LED bulbs to save power. The officials were also told to close all the manholes, conduct road repairs, sprinkling bleaching powder on both sides of the roads during rainy season.
Awareness should also be created among people on maintaining hygienic conditions. Prabhakar Reddy suggested not to allow water stagnation to prevent spread of mosquitoes and seasonal diseases. Collect dry and wet wastes separately from the houses regularly for maintaining the city clean and tidy, he ordered.
Superintending Engineer Mallikarjanudu, Executive Engineer Mahendar and civic staff were present along with others.
