Malla Reddy Engineering College held a massive Ganesh immersion programme in its campus on Tuesday. Many students came together with their small Ganesh idols and immersed the idols in buckets and drums filled with water within the hall itself. This was an innovative method executed by the college management to curb immersion related water pollution.

Dr Anji Reddy, Dean research and development JNTUH was the chief guest for he programme and addressed the gathering.

Sai Reddy GM, Circulation Dept of The Hans India also shared a few thoughts on the initiative. Dr P Sudhakar Reddy, Principal, Malla Reddy Engineering College Autonomous, Anchor Jhansi, Dr P Sammulal NSS program coordinator JNTUH, Uma Shankar Founder and Secretary Lee Shreyus Foundation, Balaniji Reddy and Sanjeev Kumar of the NSS program office also attended the programme.
