In view of the world heart day that is to be celebrated on September 29, Citizens Specialty Hospital announces the launch of Citizens Heart at the campus. The specialty boasts highly proficient doctors and specially trained nurses to cope up with any situation of cardiac emergency. On this occasion, the hospital also arranged multiple free health camps and special cardiac packages for the nearby societies and arranged multiple CPR trainings to educate and make people aware about cardiac emergencies and ways to handle the situation.

This World heart day promotes the message of creating favorable environment for heart to stay healthy. Taking forward this message Citizens Heart organised free health camps and multiple CPR training camps in Societies and colleges nearby the hospital.

Talking about the launch, Dr A Sreenivas Kumar, Chief of cardiology at Citizens Heart, said, “The European society of Cardiology Congress 2016 revealed that the heart attack cases could be curbed by 80 to 86 percent if the patient’s LDL cholesterol (LDL-C) and blood pressure levels are lowered and maintained.
