SCR to utilise Civil Defence personnel
The South Central Railway (SCR) celebrated the Civil Defence Annual Day on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Ashesh Agrawal, divisional railway manager, Secunderabad Division said that the civil defence personnel’s efforts during disasters are enormous.

Speaking on the occasion, Ashesh Agrawal, divisional railway manager, Secunderabad Division said that the civil defence personnel’s efforts during disasters are enormous.
Their intervention contributes a lot in saving lives of people and minimizing damage to national property, he added.
He said that the services of Civil Defence Personnel will be utilised during emergent situation or in organising major events on the Division in the future.
The civil defence personnel demonstrated lifesaving and rescue skills along with the personnel from Telangana State Fire Services Department.
They also demonstrated how first aid to the injured under the process of CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation), rescue of human life from high-rise building and from critical location is done.
P C Tamta, Addl divisional railway manager / Traffic, Chandrima Roy, Addl divisional Railway Manager / Operations of Secunderabad Division, Prasun Chakraborty, Dy.General Manager, South Central Railway and Controller of Civil Defence, other officers and staff were present.
