Murthy was previously working with Allahabad Bank as General Manager. He holds degree in BSc (Ag), CAIIB (Part I). He started his career as Agril. Field Officer in Allahabad Bank in 1989.
He has about 27 years of experience in banking having worked in key segments of banking, in various capacities – at Branches, RRB, Zonal Office, Controlling Offices, Head Office and as FGM (South) for Business Development in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Orissa.
