Victory Play Ground (VPG) once again extended their winning spree putting aside Secunderabad YMCA in the Inter Club Basketball Tournament conducted by Secunderabad YMCA. Victory Playground won 77-58 after leading 55-30 at half-time.

The victors have had a good run in all the events conducted this season. They maintained their dominance with Ganesh Patil and Amruthraj leading the charge with their all-round abilities. With admirable support coming from Amruthraj who kept the score board ticking and veteran Prasad providing him the support, the Patil-inspired VPG took a commanding lead in the first quarter and consolidated.
David Boon was excellent in defence and never allowed Prudhishwar any free hand to break open. With the tall Shiva garnering the rebounds, VPG raced to a comfortable lead at the half-time and continued to maintain the same till the final whistle. Ignatius Michael, Abhinay Swaroop did well for YMCA.
Jayakar Daniel, Vice Chairman of the Adhoc Committee of YMCAs of Greater Hyderabad distributed the prizes. Results: VPG 77 (Shiva 20, Amruthraj 12, David Boon 16, Sri Ganesh Patil 16) bt YMCA Secunderabad (Prudhishwar 15, Ignatius Michael 12).
