The IPL finale marks an end that is nothing short of a carnival for cricket fans. All roads led to the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal on Sunday as Mumbai Indians (MI) and Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) prepared to take on each other at the Indian Premier League\'s finale.

The IPL finale marks an end that is nothing short of a carnival for cricket fans. All roads led to the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal on Sunday as Mumbai Indians (MI) and Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) prepared to take on each other at the Indian Premier League's finale.

After a month and a half of league matches fan frenzy was at its highest for the epic clash; MI has not won a single game against RPS this season. As the team's prepared so did the fans, who left no stone unturned in showing their support for both teams, despite their favourite, Sunrisers Hyderabad not making it to the finale. Although, cheerleaders take away the limelight for “cheering” but, a closer look at stands shows how the spectators give them a tough competition.

Faces covered in paint, gigantic posters in hand coupled with blue or purple flags were the order of the day. Vocal and boisterous fans were are over the moon with their unique dressing style and children were seen in t-shirts of either Sachin Tendulkar or MS Dhoni.
