FIITJEE Jr College wins TCS IT Wiz city round
After five rounds of quizzing at the regional finals, Priyansh Shandilya and Akshay Kolli from FIITZEE Junior College won the ‘TCS IT Wiz’ title on Monday.
After five rounds of quizzing at the regional finals, Priyansh Shandilya and Akshay Kolli from FIITZEE Junior College won the ‘TCS IT Wiz’ title on Monday. The regional champions walked away with an Rs 60,000 worth gift vouchers while the runners-up represented by Syed Mohammad Hashmi and Samhith Sagar from Sri Chaitanya Jr. College were rewarded an Rs 40,000 worth voucher along with a specially designed trophy and medals.
The regional final was held at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Basheerbagh in which outstation teams from Visakhapatnam, Karnool and Kodad also participated. The prizes were distributed by Prof A Venugopala Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, JNTU-Hyderabad along with V Rajanna, Vice-President and Regional Head of TCS - Hyderabad.
The event was hosted by noted quiz master Giri ‘Pickbrain’ Balasubramaniam. The six finalists will receive prizes from TCS. The winning team along with a teacher/parent will be flown to Mumbai to contest in the in the national finals.
