Have you heard about ‘air-conditioned helmet’? It is a system which is very effective in cooling the inner atmosphere. This is useful for those who travel on bikes. The 27-year-old Hyderabadi, Shravan Gattu made 60 products like this to make life easy for common man and has 311 more ideas to execute.

Speaking with The Hans India, Shravan Gattu, shared how it all started “My interest to create new things started since my school days. Once I got punishment and I was made to kneel down at the principal room. Opposite the room, I found a board with the saying ‘Aim for the stars, you can at least reach to the moon’ and those lines inspired me to do new things. I also used to do all the projects of my friends in my school. My teachers also encouraged me to do new projects,” said Shravan Gattu.

Till now he has 40 patents in his name. “When I joined engineering, I started making solutions for real time problems. My first project was ‘speed tracker’; it will send alert messages to your family members once you cross the speed of 100kmph. Every product, I develop is one of its own kind.

It involves a lot of potential abilities with experience. Before designing I first involve myself in the project and feel the passion in it. After designing the concept, I work on the practical part and viability of the design. Once I am satisfied with the concept and design then I start prototyping my design,” he adds.

Some of his innovations are ‘Automatic Tire Inflation’, ‘Organic Fertilizer’, ‘Motor Driven Recliner Chair’, ‘Advanced Security System’, ‘Advanced Drain System’, and more. Shravan is working as a third-party research assistant for five agricultural firms.

At present, he is working on a project ‘Seed Bombing’ to solve the water crisis for farmers. “Farmers are the ones who are feeding the nation. In recent times, due to the shortage of rains, many are committing suicides.

I am working on a project ‘seed bombing’ to reduce the water problems of farmers. If this completes, the plants will survive 90 days without water. I am also working on a project to rescue the children who accidentally fall in borewells,” concludes Shravan.
