Physical Literacy Days celebrated its Week-35 with the theme ‘Garba N Dandiya Festival’. The programme commenced with ‘One Lakh Hands for Moms’, where more than 100 mothers participated in events like ‘Moms Run’ in the categories of 3K, 5K, and 10K runs.

Physical Literacy Days celebrated its Week-35 with the theme ‘Garba N Dandiya Festival’. The programme commenced with ‘One Lakh Hands for Moms’, where more than 100 mothers participated in events like ‘Moms Run’ in the categories of 3K, 5K, and 10K runs.

It was followed by ‘Super Garba’, a dance session by Dynamic Dance Zone Group. As the city is decked up to celebrate the floral festival – Bathukamma, an audio CD was released by Sharan, president of Telangana Jagruthi Student Wing. Clad in traditional attire the Physical Literacy Days participants along with kids, youth and the elderly had a gala time at the event.

Next week Physical Literacy Days would be celebrating its theme as ‘'PLDays Afro Festival' -- an occasion to celebrate Africa as a continent and bringing all the diverse cultures of students from different nations to show the symbol of unity and stand against ''Say No To Drugs'' initiative. In this programme, Nigerian students will be conducting a freedom walk to celebrate their Independence Day.
