The Rain Gods took a break on Tuesday and people across the city thronged the markets to finish their Diwali shopping at the Begum Bazaar and Afzalgunj markets in the Old City.
Although the major attraction was to buy fire crackers, people bought diyas, lanterns and lamps in huge numbers and showed their enthusiasm for eco-friendly Diwali.
