Government’s helping hand to kidney patient

Tarnaka: Excise and Prohibition minister T Padma Rao Goud disbursed a cheque of Rs 4 lakh and offered medical assistance to a kidney patient at Nagarjuna Nagar, here on Thursday. Zareena Begum a middle-class housewife who had been suffering from a chronic disease for several years was in dire need of monetary help from the government.
Hence she had applied for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The excise minister who heard the plea was moved by the family’s distress and immediately offered help.
